Pastor Timothy Hein joined the MBC staff as an Associate Pastor for discipleship in July 2008. Pastor Timm strives to lead MBC to connect to God’s Word, connect to Jesus Christ, and thereby connect to each other. This includes Sunday School/bible studies, community groups, and mentoring relationships. Pastor Timm was born in Orange, California, and later moved to Colorado, before his family settled in Minnesota. It was at AWANA that Pastor Timm came to know the plan of salvation and received God’s saving grace at seven years old. Having received the call to gospel ministry, Pastor Timm completed his Bachelors at Moody Bible Institute and then a Master of Divinity from the School of Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was ordained as a deacon while in college, then to gospel ministry in May 2008. Timothy married Manju on May 18, 2003. In his spare time he enjoys reading theology, philosophy, culture, psychology and literature, as well as watching/playing sports, good movies, and spending time with family & friends. For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
